I find it ODD that I never thought to ask about my blood type before. I really do ... but now that I know ... I guess it explains my straight A's in school (laughing to myself at my own joke) Of course, the whole process to take the blood out to get it tested is always rather tiring, and bruising. Although at the time, I figured the nurse was doing a really good job, once I painfully removed the bandaid, I was surprised. There was a tiny little bruise where she had poked me, then another one beside it ... like as if I had colored myself with purple marker. And ... yes I did have to lie down to get my blood taken out, but in my defense it's because I'm tiny and they say it's normal. I've also been told if I were to give blood it would take almost all day ... my heart isn't used to pumping so much blood.
SO to remedy that situation, because when I DO get pregnant ... I'll be needing some more blood, I've started exercising more and building up body mass. This may be why people think I'm pregnant and have a cute little belly ... *pout* It's ... a 6 pack. I've been doing yoga, which makes me flexible and helps oxygen push blood through my body better to. If you have any books or papers about getting in shape for pregnancy let me know. I am NOT pregnant ... just in case this is leading you on. We are also accepting ANY baby things you no longer need, in good or decent condition, including baby clothes etcetera ...
Now I just need to wait for my OTHER blood test results ... something about Rubella.

I'm not Pregnant
Well, in light of recent events, I feel the need to clarify my non procreative state. Although I am flattered about the *glowing* comments, the weight gain ones make me laugh. I've been trying to gain 11 lbs with no success. I'm too active apparently. So ... for those of you hoping for me to be pregnant ... you have a while to wait yet, I'm in NO hurry and neither is Corey. Besides we have lots of friends who are pregnant and would rather wait and see what happens ... kind of like test persons.
Don't worry we are definitely practicing. It's the perfectionists in us ;-)

Christmas, the holidays and NEW YEARS
GASP ... I know it's been way too long since I last posted. Sorry .... *is ashamed*
Well ... Christmas this year was really awesome. I have to say that I had a really great time. I got a spectacular new pink rope halter from my brother Adam. It's very stylish and I've already decided it's for Skye. Corey had to work until later that night, but he was still home early enough to open presents. It was so nice to visit with Adam and Crystal, who are due for a baby this February. We're all anxiously awaiting. We played games and had a lot of fun. Ride the bus is my new card came that I like to show people.
Christmas day was with the Linfitts, and I actually had fun. We got there early in case Corey got called in to work and I was greeted with cutie patootie Kalci waving at me. Then we visited with the Gusdals, whom we don't see very much of, and Corey's parents. Then the Dawiskiba's got there, more fun and lots of pictures. We opened presents and there was a lot of smiles. I got a really cool candle that you burn and you get a little charm. I love little trinkets like that and let me tell you I'm usually not a big candle burner, but I've sat there and watched that candle go lol ... and discovered a new hobby. Playing with wax. Of course, now I've started burning more candles and our house smells like a variety of things from cinnamon to vanilla, to outdoor summer mist. I also got new clothes and passes to the movies (okay I have to share the movie passes with Corey, but still ...) I also made a pact that for everything new I got, I had to get rid of something old ... THAT was fun when I got home lol. I can't wait to get the laundry basket Bonnie got us, ours has a hole and the clothes keep falling out *very annoyed*
We then had supper (or dinner) whichever you want to call it and Deanna and I played cards against Corey and Brian. We won ... of course ... like there was any other outcome. I got to play with Kylea and it was great ... she is such an adorable cutie pie.
Boxing day was at my dad's house, I got a great new zip up sweater and a little doggie butt. It looks like Maggie digging into something (she digs her way out of any contraption) I loved it. We had Lasagne ... mmmm and played more cards. Again, lots of laughing.
New Year's eve, I stayed home with my sister Madison and we watched movies. Corey got home and we all watched more movies. Not very exciting but we had fun anyways.
Now it's back to the real world and stuff. Oh yah! Corey got me a CUTE new pink purse, a cell phone, some earrings, and new running shoes (they're also pink highlighted) and the movie Cinderella.
Anyways, it's 2006 now, time to start a new year. Can't wait to see what it brings for us!

Sad, Sad Day
Alright, now ... most of you already know I'm a little crazy in the head, but I have a really good, gut feeling about this. I went for a new SCIO *exam* we'll call it. It measures the electric currents in your body, basically talking to your body and asking it what it needs. When asked about vaccinations, my body balked big time, almost putting up barriers to protect itself. I believe in that and I'm glad my mom didn't get me vaccinated. A vaccine is a live or dead ... version of the disease itself. Hey guess what ... if you're body isn't strong enough ... you're going to get sick. And ... how strong do you think a baby is? A 2 year just died for no reason after her 2 year old vaccine. She was healthy and happy. Somebody tell me why she died if vaccines are good.
Now, everybody out there is looking at me strangely because I don't want to have my baby in the hospital. I'm sorry to all you nurses and doctors out there, but my life is more precious to me than that, and my baby is a lot more precious than that even. Why give the baby that eye ointment ... when the mother doesn't have an STD? Why give it the Rh+ and Rh- vaccine ... why not check mom and dad and see if the baby even needs it? WHY take the baby to the nursery? Yeah, mom needs rest ... but she also needs to bond with her baby. I know that some people are going to get mad at my way of thinking, but we have to stop letting doctors tell us how to have babies.
I am a woman. My body is built to have a baby. I can do this. If I eat properly, excercise properly and take care of myself ... there should be no problems and any problems, shoud be easy. NOW I'm not saying that EVERYONE should have their babies at home, but I think people are getting too dependent on doctors. If you guys had any idea what an induction does to your system ... you might think twice (no offense to anyone who's had it done) I mean yeah the baby is overdue ... but 42 weeks is an estimated time, your baby knows when it's ready to come out.
Everyone is always commenting on how people are weaker now than they ever were. Ever wonder why? You all know where I am if you want more information or to talk about any of this. I'm terribly distraught by that little girl's death and I can't help but wonder why she died.
Some drugs, may be good for you, but I think everyone should remember ... they're still drugs.
Anyways, I'm done my little rant for today ... ;-) hopefully everyone doesn't hate me. Love you ALL.

Pierced Ears
I got my ears pierced!! Okay I'll admit ... I almost cried and it really hurt. Well it DID! But now they are very cute and I can't wait to wear dangly earrings. Of course I have to wait 6 months and have to wear post earrings for the next 6 months. Hint hint for Christmas presents. Anyways, on my side of the family we've picked all our names for Xmas and are passing Christmas Eve, as per usual, at my mother's house. Boxing Day is at my dad's house and Christmas Day is a split between MJ and Bill and my grandma's house. The 23rd we're in Saskatoon ... and so far ... that's our plans. Just wanted to keep everyone up to date.
PS Corey has an interview in Peace River, so everyone cross your fingers.

The World Of Photoshop

I have recently rediscovered Photoshop. Now I have never been an expert, but with Jodi's help (my boss) I managed to create what I call art. Of course, some of you may notice subtle changes in the pictures, but just use your imagination alright. Now I have here a picture of our rings. I love this picture a lot. Now ... I am actually getting back on track with the thank you cards and pictures. I ordered some test pictures off the Internet (crosses fingers) and they should be here early next week. Hopefully it all works out. If you ever see a picture on our website that you want and like, just let me know and I'll email it to you.

Not Chicken Pox
It's not chicken pox, so everyone can breathe. It's folliculitis ... it sucks, because it LOOKS like chicken pox. I basically just have hardly any protection against illnesses. So ... that's why I have a cold, which I have graciously given to everyone around me. All I have now is a bad cough, a bit of a stuffed nose and ... tired looking eyes. Not bad considering how I was last week.
Onward to new and exciting things. Corey is applying for a position in Peace River, Alberta. 33000 to 55000 dollars a year. It should be nice. I plan on researching it a bit later. Hopefully he gets hired either there or in Prince Albert here. We'll know in the next few weeks. It's certainly easier for me to find a job where he works, than for him to work where I find a job.
It's Deanna's Birthday today!!!
Corey also has a bunch of deer jerky made (wipes the jerky off the screen) sorry about that ... so if you guys want some, let us know. Talk to everyone soon!!

Hi! STAY BACK ... take another step back ... good... I may have chicken pox *pauses to scratch* or not ... I'll know more tonight and hopefully remember to call everyone ... *sigh* The first doctor GLANCED ... barely at my little bumps and said it was a skin condition, but now that it's spread .... I'll see a real doctor. For some reason everyone is avoiding me today .... don't know why. ALSO I am so excited because I can FINALLY do my thank you cards and insert pictures with them *is doing sponge bob square pants dance of excitement* ohboy ohboy ohboy ohboy. But don't hold you breath, I fear the Linfitt daylight time savings is approaching and it ... may take a tad bit longer than I predicted. *shrug* Life is like a box of chocolates ... you never know what your going to get ... unless you get a box of the same chocolates ... or you have the little index card or ... if you ... bite each one ... *hmm... chocolate...* Happy Birthday Mary Jean ... *hopes she got the right day* I know you aren't going to read this but at LEAST no one can say that I didn't think about you at least.
Anyways, talk to you all later!!

Welcome, one and all to our blog ... well ... mostly mine because Corey is ... computer illiterate. We are doing very well, no I'm not pregnant and no we aren't trying. So don't ask. It's been 6 months since the wedding and it's almost Christmas. HOORAY !!! For those of you who don't know, Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I will be building a web page up and I believe somewhere on this blog site is the address, but if not don't worry because I won't forget to tell you ;-)
It's unfortunate, this year will be a little bit sad for me because my cat Magic has passed away. I realize that there are a lot of cats in the world and you may all believe that I'm over exaggerating the loss, but if you lost your child how devastated would you be? To me ... our animals are our children ... with fur, four legs and no back talking. I know it's not a fair comparison either ... but I can't think of anything else to compare it to right now.
On a good note, the wedding pictures will FINALLY be getting done. I know, I know ... please ... contain your excitement. If anyone has any wedding pictures I'd sure appreciate a copy of them. Also, Deanna if you read this ... I really need a family picture of you guys with Kylea ... and Bonnie ... you too ... if not you are both doomed to me following you around with a camera and setting you all up for one. Remember I need this before Christmas.
